with a hop and skip
you know its spring when...
sleepytoes wake up to kiss the sun
flipflops patter on the sidewalk
faces are sunburnt and smiley
girls wear their boehmian skirts and picnic on the grass
leggy legs no longer hide underneath denim
pinks and yellows and whites dot the green grass
the once-bare branches are now dressed with blossoms and buds
birds sing their best tunes
good morning sunshine =)
