only smarties have the answer
after doing my own laundry for one and a half years, today i realise that i've been using
softener instead of
detergent the entire time. no wonder there's never any lather whenever i wash my clothes by hand.
brilliant, eh? oh the level of intelligence of an undergrad.

on another intelligent note, i come back from an awesome thanksgiving break (more on that soon) to find that the food in the fridge has gone rotten/moldy because my roomie clever-
ly turned off the power before going back home for the week. the fridge smells like CRAP.
absolutely lovely.
